I'll try to explain this as nice and simple as I can. You have a 4 cylinder, which means you have one head and one exhaust manifold. This exhaust manifold has FOUR pipes (One per cylinder) coming off the front side of the head, from the exhaust manifold all four pipes merge into one pipe and this pipe goes by several names but usually called a down pipe or the runner. V6's have two heads as opposed to one like your car, which means we have two exhaust manifolds (for the 3.5 V6 there are three cylinders per head). An exhaust header (singular) are for inline engines (4 cylinders, inline 6); one head, and exhaust headers (plural) are for V configuration engines with two heads. This y-pipe is made for the V6 which is made to have two exhaust manifolds bolted to it. Will the front flange on this y-pipe bolt up to your exhaust manifold? Probably not, but if it did you would probably output more than half the exhaust into your engine bay where the back exhaust manifold is supposed to bolt up unless it's flanged off. Even if it did bolt up and again I doubt it would it would be very restrictive and would not be the most efficient way to output your exhaust. That's why I brought up the header from stillen for the 2.5's; it's a direct bolt-on with no modifications required, it would replace the exhaust manifold and down pipe (and possibly deletes the catalytic converter), it's a lot less restrictive than your factory setup and honestly less restrictive than a V6 with this y-pipe.
