can the super hicas be removed?

hi I just bought a 91 240SX SE. it's got the super hicas and I want to remove the four wheel steering. is it possible? how much does it weigh? thanks for the help. oh I searched and only found one subject on this.

a buddy of mine's skyline has hicas and he got something called a "hicas locker". Not sure if they have them for 240s but I wouldn't be suprized if they did.

yes. it can be removed. search on google you'll find it.

IT's too bad no one lives near portland. I'd gladly trade the hicas for a regular rear sus. I want to drift and I don't like the way the back end moves when trying to control things. so... anyone living near portland that want's to trade?

I know there is probably a thread but since im here.... can the hicas be installed on the 95-98 chassis (with or w/o fabrication)
