I love the fact that one needs access to the inside of the car to open the gas filler hood , but I am wondering if it can still be forced open.

I just got through a harsh breakup with my girlfriend, and the first thing that girls think to do after a harsh breakup is to pour sugar in ones gas tank.

Am I safe? Or do I need a locking cap?

You should be safe, but be a little more selective in your next squeeze!

Maybe a Taser with an LED trigger when the field is broken?

Anything can be forced open! I'd just check it before start-up for a while... it'll be obvious if she takes a screwdriver/crow bar to it. Then you can just pull the tank and flush it - a real pain, but better than a frozen engine.
