I am trying to run an autometer electrical oil pressure gauge on my sr20det and I dont know if i can use the factory idiot light sensor, does anyone know of a way to do this, or what i hafta do? I believe there is only one wire coming off the factory idiot light sensor, but I'm not positive, but I can check. I do know for a fact that my silvia just has an idiot light, not an actual gauge.

I beileve the stock SR oil pressure sensor only sends signal if there is no oil pressure whatsoever. If you want to use the pressure gauge, you need a real pressure sensor.

I may be wrong, I wanna know too.

dont work like that man, youneed to use the sender that comes witht he gauge. Autometer is variable, stock one is just an on off switch
