Can the entire Rear subframe of a NA 300zx be bolted onto my S13?

Is this even possible?

I have the whole loaded up subframe with hubs, halfshafts, LSD, Braks, Shocks, etc.

Will this bolt onto my S13? Or will I be able to make the LSD+Shafts+Hubs work?

i have no idea, you see people on forums arent really creative we just do what we hear stories about like 300zx brake upgrades and etc. we never do things until its been done, get a measuring tape to see if its even the same size. if it is it would fit most likely.

If it's from a Z32... I believe that you can get the lsd, shafts, possibly the brakes, and hubs to work as far as I know.... I can't be sure but I believe that others have done this before (you might have issues with the halfshafts I'm not sure).... I really wouldn't try the shocks (seems like it wouldn't work as the 300 is a heavier car therefore the shocks would be made to handle the Z and not the 240.... I'm sure someone will chime in with more and better information than what I have! Good luck!

the shocks will not work, they are quite a bit different, about 6" longer. they might work in an s14 though. the track width is about 3" wider so you might run into some problems.

with 3" wider if he gets it to bolt up he will have a good excuse for a wide body kit. lol

try it, the idea of a wider track s13 using these components has been puzzling my head. As for the shocks, I thought they worked? Easy to check, just measure the uncompressed rod/shock and compare. Dampening is a whole 'nother story because I do not have a z32 fsm.

I know just about all of it bolts up on the s13's. My buddy ran like J30 axles when he did the Z32 LSD and brakes though. Not sure why.

i wasn't concerned about the track width as much as the spacing for the subframe mounts. there's a good chance that they won't line up. but they might so it's worth a shot.

the LSD, brakes and hubs will all work if you bolt them to the existing suspension. you have to use the j30 axles because the bolt pattern on the z32 output shafts are different than the s13's and the z32 axles are too long (i assume, since the track is so much different)

the upright will work if you change the mount on your shocks. it's aluminum and a couple of pounds lighter.

http://www.nissanperformancemag.com did the Z uprights on their project 240sx. They have some pics of the differances between the shocks if I remember correctly.
