Can the Diagnostic display be made to show other things

I have wondered for some time if the Diagnostic Display screen could be made to show info from other sensors on the car? I think Qsiguy (Turbo Q45 owner) thought up the same idea, Except I think I thought of this sooner and I have the wordpad document to prove it.

Anyways I think it would be cool if we can see how the engine, transmission (for those of us without manuals, Yet) and other systems are doing at any one time.

I'm guessing that you'd have to figure out how the text is generated on the display, then figure out how to replace that part (chip?) with something you can customize.

Yeah figuring out how text is generated is going to be hard.

But this is sort of like a ECU Talk screen built into the car.
