Pretty much when I lock my car at night, the lights stay on for a good 1 minute. Is it natural and normal? I could just turn it off manually, but wonder if it can be adjusted. I know all my friends tell me that I had forgotten to turn the lights off, haha and remind them they will turn off. Maybe it's just there to keep it on to make the walk from my car to my house more lit up. :p

Yep. The time delay is a curtousy to show you the way when you get out of your car. I don't agree where the position for "auto" is. If you want to just put on the parking lights and its dark enough, you have to fire the xenon (HID models) ballast and bulb but then shut it right off. I think they should have made the order (auto)(off)(parking)(on)

The turn-off time is 45 seconds and I don't think it can be adjusted. What I normally do is, after shutting off the engine and opening the door, I click it to off then turn it back to auto. If you do this with the door closed, when you open the door, the light will turn on automatically for 45 seconds.
