I'm having the same problem as many other Murano owners who posted their questions, answers, opinions and dissatisfaction on this site, my Murano 2003 stalls here and there when the transmission gets hot.

Instead of paying $5000 - $6000 to get it fixed, can't we put something else? A G35X's? Anything, please help :-)

I know this for sure, when the 2003 Murano came out, the models that were shipped to Guam, had 4 speed autos in them. That is about all I know on that issue.

The problem will be emission testing since the transmission is connected to CAN and thus ecu.

Physical fits are one thing, new software is another.
