So I started up the Z this morning, pushed in the clutch, and the shifter would not go into any of the gears. No matter how much force I use, the stick won't slide into any of the gears. When the car is not running, the stick slides into all the gears normally. Any ideas what the problem is?

Check your trans fluid and clutch fluid...does the clutch feel right? It could need adjusting or even bleeding.

Sounds like the slave cylinder blew out on you, it has nothing to do with the transmission fluid. Easiest way to tell is look at the slave cylinder on the side of the transmission and roll the rubber boot back a little, if it's wet its bad. Pretty cheap part and easy to change. Worse case you would need to rebuild your master cylinder as well but 99% chance it's your slave.
