Can’t set cruise control

Vehicle: 2009 Nissan Pathfinder SE

The CC set is on the steering wheel...after hitting the CC button the Cruise Control light never comes on. But, turn the steering wheel the CC light comes on and the Set light blinks. After it blinks a little while the lights turn off.

Any ideas?

Isolating electrical issues is a pain but you do have an indication that there might be a faulty circuit in the steering wheel CC switches that get interrupted when you turn the wheel. I would take it apart and look for loose or cracked wires, plugs, or faulty switches.
