Hey guys! Obviously I'm new, so take it easy I have an '05 g35 sedan, and I keep getting the wrong pads for the front. The rotors must have been replace, but not the pads where I bought it from. If you saw the place you would understand Anyway, I've gone to two different autoparts stores to get pads for it, and both times they gave me a pad that was to small. It's not a brembo set up and it's not an x, but they keep giving me the wrong pads and look at me like a retard when tell them they aren't right I've done my share of car things(race mechanic, tuner, etc.), so feel free to be specific if you like. Where am I going wrong here?? Your help would be greatly appreciated!

The part number should have an 888 in it. It's the same brakes as a 2006 Nissan 350Z, non-brembo.

Thanks sooo much Jerome! I will look into that and see if that can help me come up with the right pads. Is this a common problem for newbs like me, do the parts stores just have a bad listing or what? Or is it that most infinity drivers don't get their parts from autozone For what it's worth this is my daily ride, I put the good stuff on my SVT,lol!

I'd assume that it's pretty common. They changed the brakes in 2005 for the G. The 03-04 non-brembos were a single piston front caliper. In 05, they went with a two piston front caliper and a larger pad. I know the 6MT has the larger brakes for 05-06, and I think the autos had them too. I think only the X has the older front brakes.

Good luck.
