Can't see out of the back window of my 240sx vert

Have 92 and 93 240 convertibles and can't see out of either rear window - very cloudy looking. Does anyone know how to remedy this without resorting to replacing the window?

unfortunately the FSM says that when the window becomes cloudy it cannot be cleaned or cleared and needs replaced. a replacement window panel is $170 online and its rather involved to change out.

Or zip it in like a Miata....

FYI im a detailer for Nissan and we use car polish buffed into the vinyl. It clears it up somewhat decently.
