can't reverse

Hello,

I have a 95 Nissan 240sx. It has 140k+ miles. It recently had a gas leak and we had to replace the gas tank. I got it back last week, and it ran fine for a day or so. Suddenly, I am unable to put my car in riverse. It drives forward fine, but when I put it in riverse and floor it and it won't go anywhere. I was wondering what would cause this? I'm not too familiar with the major inner workings, but I was wondering since it is rear wheel drive, would they have to remove any of those parts to replace the gas tank? Is it possible they didn't put something back right? Any help or suggestions would be great. Thanks.

nah your tank repair would have nothing to do with the trans operation. I suspect your trans is toast.
