So I was being lazy and figured I'd just roll down a hill and pop start my car instead of keying it over. I got it spinning up to 1000 rpm and just coudn't get it to run. Started right up with the key though. So this is more of an observation than anything but it was odd enough to make me post.

Funny. Try rolling at about 10 mph, and put it in second gear. Also, make sure that the key is all the way forward , just before you engage the starter.
