can't get the throttle cable to fit

hi! nico im doing a red top swap to my 91 240 but my throttle cable does not fit; the throttle does not close all the way help?

is there any range for adjustment on the throttle? if so it will be easy to adjust it for the different distance.

where can i adjust it i try the 2 nuts at the throttle but istill not enough

the nuts are were the cable meets the TB, im not sure what the sr guys do if it doesnt fit, chris would know since he has one.
