its factory you can't adjust it..Wc240 wrote:tryed adjusting your fpr?
I'm running dw injectors..and no I"m not running any other management other then a tune ecu. for the car to run fine without the fuel pump is there something wrong? or should that happen with these kind of injectors?sommmatt wrote:Wrong impedence injectors? May need a resistor box if you're using DSM injectors or certain RX7 injectors.
But I say bypass the factory FPR and put an aeromotive one in or something.
Do you have a wideband? Might help to see if you're running stupid rich on idle when the pump is on before it bogs out.
Would make sense to me.Wc240 wrote:with your setup you shouldve at least been running a fuel pressure gauge. get/borrow one and see what it is. im bettin youll need to buy a fpr and adjust the pressure
This is what i'm doing next..my friend is bringing his over and were going to check it..DrJuice164 wrote:My guess is fuel pressue. From what I recall a walbro bumps up fuel pressure to 52 when stock fuel pressure should be around 42. Please, correct me if I am wrong.
Could get an inline fuel pressure gauge to verify.
yeah....Razi wrote:Just making sure...you have a tune right?
Hmm..I'm going to go ahead and give that a try and I'll see what happens.r3v_v3ng3 wrote:i had somewhat similar to your problem but mine was that the fuel pump wouldn't come on. found out that that when i did the electric fan wire and hook the wire up on the fuel pump fuse, it elongated the terminal to where it wasn't touching the fuse. (removed the wire and had it turned on by a thermo switch).
after that i couldn't figure out why it was dumping hella fuel on idle. later found out that i switch the wires (signal and power) on the maf sensor. so at idle it was seeing a 30% air. only found out when i hooked up a safc
hope it helps
Wow...So everyone knows...the jwt guide is backwards... Mine were backwards. It now starts right up and idles fine...I still gotta get a safcII but for now this thing is a purrrrin.r3v_v3ng3 wrote:i had somewhat similar to your problem but mine was that the fuel pump wouldn't come on. found out that that when i did the electric fan wire and hook the wire up on the fuel pump fuse, it elongated the terminal to where it wasn't touching the fuse.
