Finished up my KA-T just before the meet tonight. Go to turn the key to prime the engine and nothing. Just a single click. My mdm techtom says I have 11.7 volts from the battery. I hook up cable to my vert and have 13.4volts. Still just a single click. Figured my starter was fried so I go to the parts store and it works just fine. Back to my house and reinstall it. Just a single click when key is turned. Motor turns freely from the crank pulley..... Anybody got a hunch???I got coil wire disconnected so I can prime the engine.....

are all plugs put back in? This sounds like when go from auto to manual having problems with the neutral safety switch, there is a plug that has to be conected or nothing will happen

maybe you still got something else hooked up thats draining power? or just dirty power ends(the battery) so the battery cables aren't making good contact hense no power to the starter.(has happened to me quite a couple of times, the terminals were dirty as hell so the car would click then stop, but the battery still had enough juice to actually crank)
