if you flywheel is spinning while trying to take off the bolts to it. find a spare bolt somewhere and wedge it between the flywheel and block to jam it.

well using a cam gear against the dowel up to worked for five of the 6 bolts. I broke two ratchets and a socket in the process. Now what to do for the last one?

I installed a transmission bolt in the block, and then put a 12/13/14mm short socket in between the ring gear teeth, and set it against the bolt.. didnt have any problems removing the flywheel bolts (granted we had a broken torque wrench, that was locked.. so a 2ft ratchet pwnt

I would, if i were you, Grab a cheap Steel flatbar from Home Depot/ Lowes/ Wal-Mart or wherever, drill 3-4 holes, two that go across the flywheel and two that bolts to the block Find a way to get it stable and throw down some serious tourqe(+250lbs?), Air Tools may be useful, but I've found that just doing it by hand is better. Simply bouncing on the breaker bar would be preferred over just "jumping" or Kicking it as you may round the nut O_o

Ive not done this to a KA, but when I was a mazda rotard, this was the easy way, shouldn't be much different.
