Welcome aboard!

Let's break it down some. A harness doesn't 'go dead.' it's a bundle of wires, and there should only be two to the fuel pump.

Are the wires damaged? is the FP not getting power and ground? How do you know you have an issue with the harness?

All that info is needed before you go replacing what is essentially two wires.

Thank you! I wasn't getting power across any of the connection after cleaning the corrosion, i tested the fuses and relays and the pump wasn't turning over or spitting any fuel or anything, despite me checking the connections I knew to check. Instead of doing more research like i should've I got impatient and just snipped the 5 wire harness off both ends and tried to just wire them together (which obviously failed). Can I clean and reuse the harness? Because I can't find one online anywhere lol? And where else if not this harness would the wiring issue be? is there a diagram of the entire wiring to the back of the car?

How do I post pictures lol

You should be able to simply re-splice the connector back on.

Wiring diagram is here: nissanservicemanual.com - Be advised, take your time. Impatience will bite ya in the butt!

So, you tested for power and ground at the pump and it's not getting 12v?

To post an image, it needs to be hosted somewhere. Then, simply click the 'insert image' icon above, and drop your image URL in between the img tags.

Sorry for the late response, had to take care of uni finals

Impatience did bite me in the butt which is why I'm in a pinch. Prior to posting I had already cut the harness off... not my smartest move. Now i need to find a way to replace it. Either way, i did test for power from each of the individual wires, recieving 7 volts from the green and 12 from the red (on the wire side obviously, the pump isn't connected to anything haha)

any advice? It was late and cold last night and I didn't already know how to do it so I did not test for ground

So, you threw away the pigtail?

If so, WiringSpecialties.com may have one.
