can't find the flasher unit for the love of god!!!

hey guys, I'm continuing my ricing out of my 89 240sx. I just got a hyperflasher relay and tried finding the relay underneath the dash. I have spent over an hour and no luck. I have no idea where that damn thing is located. Can someone please tell me where the flasher unit/blinker relay is located?

Follow the steering column, the actual metal part. At the back, near the firewall, you'll see a metal part that portrudes from the firewall at the back. On the back side of that metal part, that's where you'll see a metal clip on the top that screws into the part of the column to hold the flasher relay in place, and at the bottom you'll see some wires heading into it. You will not actually see the unit itself unless you undo the bolt, and then you can push the relay down and then unclip it.
