Can't figure out remote starter...

I have a 2016 Premium 3L. It has a button for remote start, and I have remote start activated in the settings menu of the car, but nothing happens when I tap or hold the button. Is there some sort of trick to this that I'm missing?

Just in case yours didn't have the original books when you bought it. Personally, I prefer using the PDF over the actual book (heresy, I know).

You have to lock the doors with the remote first then hold the autostart until starts

My wife and I both have Q60's and sometimes the remote start feature does not work. Most of the time it does, but randomly it will just stop working. We've had to go to the car and physically start it to get it working again.
