I keep getting the code for the Air Intake Temp Sensor. The light's been on for over a year, I replaced the sensor but I still can't figure it out.

I think it might have something to do with my Short-Ram, but I dunno why it wouldn't be working. It's a proper S14 short-ram, which is to say that it has the hole for the sensor.

Anyone have any ideas of what I should try? I'm tempted to try it with the stock intake system back on, but even back when that was on the car, I still had a CEL.

Thanks.

Did you reset your ECU by chance???? If not then that's what it is!! Resetting it is easy, just pull your ECU out of the kick panel but (do not unplug it) and there is a flat head screw on the back. Turn the igntion key on but do not start the car! Turn the flathead screw on the back clockwise all the way and hold for 3 seconds then turn it back fully counter clockwise and now your ECU is in diagnostic mode which means the CEL and led in the ECU window will flash with your code. Then turn the screw fully clockwise again hold for 3 then back counter clockwise and now you have just reset the computer. It should now flash a 55 code which means all good in the hood!

Yeah, unfortunately its not that simple. I have reset it a number of times, but the CEL comes back. Something is still actively causing the CEL, it isn't just the residual result of something that has since gone away.

Thanks though.
