93 240sx hatch ka24de....126***milesintake, header, full exhaust...

changed plugs/wires not too long ago...look fine nownew fuel filter new cap/rotorchanged oil/filter

car sputters and breaks up during heavy acceleration but when taking it easy, its fine.....once i step on the gas past 1/2 throttle, it acts up

now a new problem, after driving (normal or beating on it) it stalls out when i take it out of gear....for example, coasting to a red light or stop sign. By the time im almost at a stop, the engine is already stalled at 0rpm, then gives me a hard time to start back up...

did a compression check too about 3 weeks ago...cyl 1 180cyl 2 190cyl 3 185cyl 4 180 so that looks good as well....

what is wrong with my car...its really annoying to drive lately so can all you fellow NICO brothers/sisters help me out...anything would be good!

Probably a leak somewhere between your TB and MAF, or vacuum lines/idle control.

Have you checked fuel pressure? If you can take a fuel gauge and tape it to your winshield and see if when under load it drops below 35 psi. If it does you either have a clogged fuel filter or need a new fuel pump. To check for vacume leaks spray little bits of carb cleaner around suspected parts of the engine and see if the rpm drops, if it does were ever you have just sprayed is the vacume leak.

This happens to my car as well. The best way to combat this is you wait for the car to fully warm up also chaing the fuel pump & making sure you have no vacuum leaks can help to this problem as well.

it might be the fuel pump thats giving you a hard time. it usually acts up first before eventually giving out. thats when you feel the sputtering when you're accelerating.

as for your car shutting down when coasting, look at the intake manifold's front side. there should be an electrical connection hanging there that, i think, is for the TPS. when you had the stock intake, it used to clamp onto a hose, but with the aftermarket one, it is not supported at all and just hangs there. check its connection... let your car run at idle and see if by moving this connection a little bit changes your idle....
