I got a Rb25det motor and transmission, basically the complete swap for an s13. So now im really confused because the motor came with the r34 GT-T ecu and wiring harness. i have no idea whats going on because i read some threads and they all say that the rb25det that came in the r34s was the NEO and im pretty sure mine is not a NEO because it doesnt have the solenoid that all the NEOs have on the throttle body. so now i have no idea what to do. Did i get ripped off? Will the NEO ecu work with a S2 Rb25det motor?

Looks like a Series II RB25det to me. If it was a NEO it should have a plastic and metal CAS.

im thinking the same thing, but i have no idea why it came with the NEO wiring harness and ECU. Will it run with no issues since its a NEO ECU ? Does anyone know?
