Blue tooth worked fine in my 2008 Rogue but now with my new 2011 it pairs but won't connect. Getting the usual runaround, Nissan says it's the phone's fault (HTC EVO 4G), Sprint says it's Nissan's fault. Help please, need hands free asap.

fleur,

I cannot offer much help. Nissan does not mfg the head unit or Bluetooth adapter so I am not surprised they aren't much help.

wonder if anyone else has had this problem? Dealership suggested I try to connect someone else's phone with it to see if the bluetooth is faulty. I'll do that. Thanks.

Have you successfully paired and used the Evo with any other BT devices?

Yes, paired and connected with the bluetooth in my 2008 Rogue. Not one problem with that.

I have a HTC Evo shift and had no trouble connecting via bluetooth. Kinda sucks that I can only use it for calls and not listening to Pandora or MP3s though.

I'd be happy if I could use it for phone calls!

I was having the same problem the day before I got in to the accident. My Bluetooth wouldn't connect.
I have a Android phone too.
I tried connecting it for a good 15 mins but nothing

My Evo connects fine with the 2011 bluetooth. Did you do the software update to Gingerbread? If not, do it and try again. If you did, try resetting to factory defaults - that fixed alot of issues people had after the upgrade.

After it is paired there are 2 things you must do first make sure the bluetooth on the phone is on before you start the car. If that does not do it then go into settings on the phone and check the make phone discoverable box, then press the bluetooth button in the car and follow the promps to select a phone. This solved my problem that sound similar to yours. Good Luck

I have a Droid X and mine connected and worked fine. Just try to follow the directions for your phone on here http://www.nissanusa.com/bluetooth.html

If that dont work take it to the dealership and have your salesman do it.
