So Ive checked out where the leak was comming from , its a volcano gusher, its on the passenger side, shown here.

It only spew's at full lock. Ive remdied by using an old bicycle inner tube, cut, and 3 hose clamps holding it in place. It now just slightly drips, instead of flooding the driveway.

The hose goes toward the back of the car, across the motor, to the drivers side to this bracket

I dont have a FSM of an older Q, I have hte one for the 1994, I shall dig through it tommrow. If anyone has this PN# handy id be nice. =)

Other than that, Jesda's former Q has reccived a fresh helping of Mobil 1 for thanksgiving

Doing more reading, Ive found that Theres the Main power steering hose, which is Pressure.

This must be the Return one, which is cheaper.....

I found this on Everythinginfinity.com

P/S HOSE, Q45, w/o Active Suspension, Return - POWER, 2 WHEEL STEERING 90-94 $65.23 $48.92Parts And Prices Are For Estimating Purposes Only. Order By Description.

Guru's, am I correct?

If you give me your VIN, I think my "FAST" program can identify the part. It is the same program that the dealership parts department uses (don't tell anybody I have it).

I think there are actually three hoses that are considered high pressure. I replaced mine that had a leak in the exact same place - and I don't think it was that cheap... I lucked out and found one in a salvage yard.

Here's another option for you. zerothread?id=4470

If you're ordering one from Infiniti of Scottsdale - they are very good at identifying those hoses... I think they sell a lot of them.

Heath I definatly saw that post, the hose looks great, except, I work EVERY DAY untill mid Febuary, As i work 2 retail jobs.

I wont have time to remove/drive around, get service, and put it back. I might call around to see whats going on with the hydro shops around here. Id rather just remove/replace.

BUT!, the triple hose clamp + rubber insert, seems to have slowed down the leak ALOT, so I may just ride it out, untill I have more time. I guess it depends on the price of the hose.

Mr. Jeff Im going to E-mail you. Yes that nissan FAST is an awesome tool. Ive used it at a friends....house....

The shop in Columbia had same day service... some folks in AZ indicated it was a "while you wait" thing there... so if you have an extra vehicle you might be able to pull it off...

I entered your VIn and here is the PS hose drawing. I colored the lines to help determine the part number.

This appears to be all the hoses with descriptions.

I think, by your picture, it is part number 49722M

I bought the hose that you are speaking of becuase mine did the same thing. The part number is 49720-60U1. It is a steel line that has a hose on one end and the other is a junction block that mounts to the frame with two screws. Hope it helps.

Nice to see that Jesda's Q45 has remained in NICO members' hands.
