My front left tire on my 1999 Infiniti I30 is making this noise kinda a mix between a squeak, rattle, and a click. Its more describable as a click, an extremely fast one. I suspect the wheel bearing. The stud broke like two months ago. The wheel doesnt move when I pull it out or turn it like you would testing a bearing. I only hear it next to walls where the sounds can bounce back at me. I only hear it while slowing down, going really slow, in reverse. Any ideas? O, also another way to describe the sound, its similar to how rubber squeaks on glass, or how a tire sounds when you turn it sitting still on smooth concrete. That kinda sound is what I am hearing. Someone give me an idea before I replace a part that may not need replacing.

Just make sure the lugs nuts are torqued correctly, @ 80 foot-pounds. From description, could be bad wheel bearing or sticky caliper. Inspect the brake assembly - caliper, pads and rotor. If Ok, then most likely the wheel bearing.
