ok ive done a rb20det swap in my 90 240 , and its running extremely rich at low rpms and runs fine at higher rpms , it runs so rich down low it bogs down so much it dies , i was told i need to upgrade my fuel pump, and get a fpr , ok i ordered the parts but im waiting on them still , im confused why it runs like this if there is a stock fpr , shouldnt the computer adjust the fuel, i dont understand why i need this to run normal even at stock boost , i feel like there is something im missing , any explanation of this would be most appreciated, also did everyone else have this problem

what other mods are on the engine? how long have you driven it like this? tried resetting the ECU? (very important with RB's). when does it do this? idle? off throttle? cruising?

that might be alot of your problem, RB ecus are adaptive learning ECU's. it has to learn how to idle, drive, and adapt to your style of driving. mine would barley hold idle for the first 15 minuets it was running then it smoothed out and became nice and smooth.

all of your intercooler piping is connected, right?

anyway to reset the ECU just disconnect the negative battery cable for 5 minuets.

clean your spark plugs too. they are prob all fouled up from running rich.

would running rich also cause dieseling? It will begin to die like it should when the ignition is turned off, but then it will fire a couple more times mine doesnt have a rough idle, but it bounces at idle when warmed up- doesnt bog itself down as bad as yours sounds like tho

check your timing.sounds like its horribly retarded.mine did this for a bitfound out that it was running at 0 degrees.had no power and was pig rich.set it back to 20 (15 if your neutral switch works) and it was like night and day.mine diseled when timing was like that so try that first.
