Can someone please post a video of their engine runnin close to the engine bay, i belive that my versa is knocking

they tick man. i think all of them do. if its a knock you'll feel it in your feet inside the car usually.

i have never felt it, but i have heard the noisy valves that everyone speaks of...

the engine makes weird noises, better oil and a slightly higher octane gas has made this go away for me

Its just the S.N.V.T.(standard nissan valve tic) ever nissan ive ever heard has valve tic, the ka,sr,vg,vq,mr,qr,rb. It happens on such a tight tolerance moter, not many other noises to hear over top of the nice tight vlave train :P

If it's a knock and not a tick (common on a lot of japanese 4 cylinder motors), take it in before your warranty is expired. Ticking is no big deal (unless it's super loud) but if you hear what actually sounds like something hitting something else, then there may be a problem.

That video is about what my engine sounds like. The ticking in it sounds a little bit louder than mine but that could just be the video camera. And I run regular octane gas and plain synthetic (not the group 4 synthetics like Amsoil, Royal Purple, etc) if that matters any.
