From my personal experience:

CA18DE's = Hot

They also tend to lose coolant. Now throw in a turbocharger and put it in a FWD car with a transmission that lets the engine sit at 3600rpm's when you're travling 100km/h in 5th gear is just asking for troubles. Im looking to do a lot of long distance driving in the summer and was wondering if someone can let me know what will work as far as oil coolers or oil filter relocations kits for a FWD go?

Also, what can I expect from an oil cooler? Will it significantly help cool down the engine or will I need to do something else?

rico05 just did a complete step by step writeup on how to put together your own oil cooler. Check the DIY section or search for content created by rico05

In 240 General, there is a thread on this where chmercer shows how to also build it for less. I wanted to make a show peice as well as a functional part, so my method was a little pricey, but well worth it.

I also have a Koyo R1276 radiator, Altima fans, a Nismo rad cap, and a radiator air panel so when I am not leaking coolant out from my head, beating on my car is no big thing.

Forgot to add, if you need any more pics or any help, feel free to ask:[email protected]
