if this chip is from the q45, then im guessing it is a v8. one side should have 8 wires, while the other side has 9. the side with 8 wires is from the ecu, and the side with 9 wires goes out to the ignitors. (lets label the side with 8 wires "A", and the other side "B") the middle wire on side b is the ground (Black wire). i don't know if the q45 has any kind of labelings or numbers on the casing, but if there is, side a should be e1, e2, e3, all the way to e8. u will only be needing 4 wires, e1-e4 only. same thing with side b: the first 4 wires before the ground wire. match it up with ur stock sr20det ignitor harness: e1 goes to e1, and so on. i got an ignitor chip from the 300zx TT and there was 6 wires on one side and 7 wires on the other. i matched it up with my stock ignitor harness on my red top, and it runs just like stock. i hope this helps u out.this pic is an example of the stock sr ignitor harness plugs.
