Hello forum members,

I am not a noob member here, and have used the search button, but did not find as clear an answer as my question is...so with that said. I am trying to find out what potential issue if any I would encounter if I used an intake manifold from a 92-95 ka24de on a 96 ka24de. Would the obd1 vs obd2 be an issue I need to consider? Or would it work just fine and be a straight swap? Can anyone share their knowledge with me on this?

I appreciate all who offer information up

Thanks,

the entire intake manifold?

the upper manifold would be easy, you just swap the two sensors and you would wanna remove the swirl control valve on the intake runners

If this s14 motor is going to be in an s13 there is no issue.

However, otherwise in comparing the s13 lower and s13 lower manifold they are pretty different.

the tps is different, there are two werid coolant lines that need to be run. the iacv looks the same, but i cant say if it will work.

there is a vacuum galery on the back of s14s, it is much smaller than the s13 vacuum gallery. the bad part is that the s13 one is run entirely different, plus it has two solenoids that you cant hook up to a s14. so unless you had bother galleries you might have a hard time trying to compare the two.

the two lower manifolds are physcially the same but all the crap on em is not, and the s13 has a lot more vacuum crap going on.

but you can plug everything and only run vacuum for the fuel pressure regulator and the brake booster

The plugs on s13/s14 iacv's are different and will not plug into the other one .... so that'd be an issue.
