Can Someone measure the resistance!!

I have always wondered what the hell the Ignitor chip is responsible for. Since it isnt necessary when running standalones I am guessing that its just an impedance matcher for the ecu drivers. So if anyone can please grab a sr20det ignitor chip and check the resistance on it with a multimeter...if a common resitance is found on all the pins then my guess is correct and we could just build the ignitor chip...which wont cost more than $10 to make.
