Heres my problem, I bought a KA24E motor to replace the one blown in my 89' 240, I got everything to bolt up and then nothing. I tested for fuel and spark and have both. Even tested the starter and it works outside the car, but when I put the starter in and I only hear the solenoid, without the motor to turn the flywheel? I got numbers off the side of the block The old one is 9411A and the new one is 9026c. thats all the identifying marks I could find. The starter is off the old block. If any one has any ideas on how to help I could use them.

I can turn it by hand. I fixed the problem and ran a power wire off of my battery. But now I have a new problem, it will not start. I've checked all the vacume lines on the back of the head. I'm not getting any fuel. I also haven't filled the rad with fluid because I read somewhere on here you have to find some bleeder screw but I don't remember where it is.

check to make sure the fuel pump is pushing fuel to the rail, make sure the lines are not swapped, listen to the injectors to hear if they click. the bleeder is on the intake manifold towards the front. it is a machine screw with a 10mm head. there is a little gold sticker next to it.

Well it was 2 problems. 1st. fuel line was going into the FPR and then rail, now there switched. 2nd. Air temp sensor before the MAS was cut(torn). But runs now!!! Do you happen to have a pic of the blearder screw?

no but if you look at the intake manifold around cyl 1 you will see your coolant temp sensor(2 wire), thermal transmitter(1 wire), and the bleeder screw all in the same area.

you dont need to remove anything it is right on top in plain veiw. It looks just like a bolt in the manifold. right next to your coolant temp sensor.
