What Year Coupe ??
I just took mine out the other day when I installed my CAI cause I thought I needed to remove the whole front bumper.
It's farely easy, I wouldn't simply pull hard though! you're likely to break the lower clips and 2 side upper clips that way and render the stock grille and possible mount points for the billite grille useless.
Here's a quick removal procedure:1) Use a flat tip screwdriver to lift up the center portion of the top hold down clips, then remove the clips and set them aside.
2) Reach your arm down the inside of the grille (the side closest to the engine). Starting a few inches from the edge you will see and feel tabs sticking through holding the bottom of the grille in place. bend these downward slightly one by one while pushing them outward toward the front of the car, don't worry if they kinda semi go back in when no pressure is applied they wont click in and if one does you'll hear it.
3) Next on the upper corners of the grille you'll find 2 more clips work one side at a time and push the clips off towards the the outside of the car while pushing to the front of the vehicle. Once one of these clear the second is way easier cause you can then open the grille kinda like a door until the other side slips out.
Just remember it's plastic and can break easy so don't rush it
Here's a pic from the service manual which should help. This is for a 2003 Coupe though may be slightly different for your year if it's not an '03
