i just purchased pacesetter header just to replace my old exhaust system

and i have to replace the egr tube and all that stuff

but my question is on the driver side header you have the oxygen sensor on the top but on the bottom you have another area does anyone know what that is called

You might be able to get better help if you included a year, make, and model. But in this case, I'm going to guess you have an 86-89 300ZX.

That port is for the AIV, the Air Induction Valve. It is an emissions component to help create less emissions in the exhaust system. It should be feeding back to the intake just before the AFM.

i really appreciate it

on the stock exhaust the whole was just rotting off
