I need to know the distance from the transmission mounting surface of the block to the mounting surface of the crank or flexplate.

Does anyone know for sure that the block/crank distance is the same as a Z32TT?

Both of my VHs are torn down right now or I'd check myself.

Thanks!

If you don't have an answer by tonight I can get it for you. Don't forget that the VHs had that little spacer too.

I just checked and it's about 2mm, or a lil over 1/16th inch from the trans mating surface to the crank flange. That is NOT including the sandwich plate.

So to be clear, the block flange is about 2mm further REARWARD than the crank flange.

Thanks for the help!

And not that I doubt you at all, but can anyone else verify as well... I need to be 100% sure on this! Corroborating evidence I guess...

This is a pic of my setup. The trans is NA with a TT flywheel and clutch. The trans is flush to the engine and I had to put the factory VH auto trans spacer behind the flywheel to get it to line up, otherwise the flywheel sits closer to the engine. Hope it helps.
