Post

I own a 2003 Frontier Crew Cab long bed Supercharged V6, and I have a problem with it - the two rear passenger doors have up and locked themselves on me, and I can't get them open from the inside or the outside. Somebody else who had a Frontier said that it was a common problem with them, and that I had to get some little plastic piece inside the lock replaced, but I just talked to my local Nissan dealer, and he says he's never heard of it. Can someone shed some light on this and maybe tell me what I need to do about it?

Thanks so much - JOY

Well, the dealer should be a little more helpful...

I couldn't find a TSB on this issue, but the dealer needs to step up and look into the problem.

When you went to the dealer was it a tech who told you that or was it a service writer? If it was a service writer go back and ask to speak with a tech. service writers about 80% of the time really dont know what they are talking about.

It's a new one to me?

Yeah you need to take it to the dealer and have them check it out.
