might be a wiring issue.... possibly a bad solder joint, might want to tear into the harness and take a peak.

uhh wiring.. no not really. LOLcuz i didn't do the wiring when i installed the engine i had a guy from a local rb swap shop come to my house that i paied him to do the wiring for me.

so me touching the wiring is a big no. lol cuz i'll screw it up.

and all i'm looking for is an acutal photo taken from off an engine of the cam and exhaust key way marks so i know what they look like so i can tear mine apart to see if my key ways are fine and not broken.

Are you using your upper timing cover or are the timing belt and gears exposed? If you are not using the upper timing cover you gotta make sure to shim the CAS.

If no one finds a pic, I'll take one tomorrow night when I pull my engine.

the upper timing cover helps space the CAS away from the cam gears. you might need to add some small washers if you're not running the upper timing cover to keep the CAS from grinding against the cam gears

If you are not running the upper timing cover, you definitely need to put some small washers between the CAS and CAS bracket.

Do this when you install another CAS. Hopefully it will keep you from eating another one. This will likely solve your clicking issue. Well, I hope so.
