Can OEM S14 injectors be used on S13?

I've looked up the part numbers and the injectors are different between the two...

16600-S13006

16600-S14001

Does anyone know the difference between the two other than part numbers? The S14 are a brighter red too... I received some injectors from a member on here and they are brigther red but were supposedly off a 93.

I've put them in my rail and since using these injectors, the car is running differently. Under heavy throttle it appeared to be missing, from what I would have assumed to have been a rich condition...but when I popped the hood, the header had more heat discoloration, indicating a leaner condition. I didn't have a chance to check the plugs because I installed the injectors, put new plugs in, and drove the car to the machinist to install new valve shims.

I don't know if it's paranoa or not, but I really do believe these injectors are flowing differently than my previous S13 injectors did though I've no idea how if they are supposedly both high impedence and 270cc's

Yes, i'm pretty sure they're similar, if not the same. I don't know why your car would be running leaner than before but I know I've put an s14 fuel rail with injectors on an s13 ka24de without any apparent problems. Are you sure you don't have any vacuum leaks or ignition problems?

The injectors are the same, and are interchangable. You might have bought dirty injectors or something, try running injector cleaner through them.
