Post

I did my search and came up empty, so im posting a thread to see if I get answers.

I have an sr20det s13 with a t28 turbo and im trying to get my coolint lines in. I already have the one on the back hooked up but the line that goes to the block is giving me a hard time.

I put a washer (coper) on it and bolte it in. I then put some coolint in from the hose that runs to the fire wall and it just leaks out from the line that goes in to the block.

I have tried it with a washer on each side and i have even tried puting a rubber washer on the back side of the line because thats where i think its leaking from. The only difference it made, was that it leaked out slower.

So im just sitting here looking at it and i just dont know what to do next

sorry about my grammer I know its bad but don't burn me so hard.

I seriously read through your post 5 times and had absolutely no idea what you were talking about.

Could you please edit your post with punctuations and CAPITAL letters so its easier for us to comprehend?

that's odd for it to leak with both copper washers on it (which you're supposed to have one on each side of the bolt). Check your bolt for cracks. It's the only way I can think of that thing leaking. Even an uneven mating surface would have gotten filled in with the rubber you used.

I have a feeling that the bolt is just bad.

the bolt is good everything looks good. One of my bodies said that the bolt is to long, but the thing is i can not find the right size anywhere so i think im just going to put anothere washer to make it smaller

yes or no-need opinoun

I guess you are using stock hard lines with the stock banjo bolts?

I know you have to bend the lines a bit to get the stock lines to fit. When you do that its really easy for you strip the threads out on the block.... Does it feel stripped?

If you are using the banjo bolt that was already there then I don't see why it would be long. I've never had problems with the banjo leaking from there when I had my T25... and took it on and off several times with old washers too.

It's either got to be not tight enough or threads are stripped...

Did you use new copper gaskets on both sides?

The threads on the block look good and dont feel stripped.

I tried getting copper washers but i can not find them anywhere, i have even tried looking for them at Homedepot (house supply store) nothing just regular washers.

I fixed my coolint leak and know my oil line that conects to the block is leaking bad, any ideas where i mite get some copper washers at???
