hmm... I personally would meet up with the owner of that cav and just take a look at the height of your bumper and compare it to where the damage is.. to me it looks like you could have made the lower dent but that top one is just to high. My friend had someone hit his camry and the plastic bumper just pushed right back out. Im willing to bet that if you got your hand behind there you could push the bumper out and you wouldnt even know anyone hit it. And when to meet up with him and it does look like that top dent is to high then tell him or her to drop crap and also say you can go to prison for insurance fraud.. which is what they would be doing in making you pay for it..

Also was there no paint transfer? look for some on the top dent of the cav...paint transfer of a car other than yours...

Cars generally do not rust between when you hit them, and snap a picture at the scene. The scratches in the fender (at least the lower one) look rusted.

There also appears to be a dent in the other side of the front end of the car, too...

the insurance company if you've already talked to them about it as long as it hasnt escalated to far you could just withdraw the claim. they wont mind not paying any money

and yeah i agree the other side of their car looks a bit dented too and it appears its a bit rusty.

could your paint actually get that high on the car? i guess thats what you need to find out.

looking at those two pics again i would assume the bumpers would've just both bent, then yours cracked and im guessing you would've come to a stop by then, so could your tail light even have made the distance to where the fender damage is?

trouble with these things is you tend to forget what happened. which sucks

I think what you guys are looking at as rust is just the black plastic under the paint.. The fender hasnt rusted your right but im pretty sure the entire front bumper is plastic... I dont know its so hard to tell. And unless you were flying in reverse! and first hit the bumper then the car popped up and then hit the finder i just cant see it happening.. just dont let this person screw you over to get other body damage fixed that you didnt cause..

get a field agent...not fbi ...to come out and inspect the damage. asking us won't help you much because i doubt anyone responding is an insurance claims officer.

no way did your car do that, a taller sitting vehicle could only do that, i would have the insurance company investigate it and compare the height of ur car to theres, its impssible for to do that

Pretty sure his maxima did it.......

look at the bottom corner of his bumper....its got her nasty teal paint on it.

the top corner on the quater panel by the tail lights on 5th gens are pretty rigid. i can beleive it busted up her thin fender like that. (it also looks like there are two streaks of black paint in the dent too)

is your max stock height? if so i'd say you def. need to accept that your car was involved.
