Drunk driver smacked into the back of it taking out the bumper, mangling the trunk and taking out both rear lights and the front right.

The cabin was not damaged, nor were the windshields and frame. Air bags did not deploy. It's only done 55k miles. Just hoping that state farm doesn't call it a write off but either way I'm taking it to John Eagle luxury repairs in Dallas. Has wood trim and an inbuilt DVD NAV system

Would like to solicit other's thoughts....can it be salvaged?

Ouch. Good to see you're ok. I guess it CAN be repaired, but it will never be the same again. I'd say just get another G either used or maybe upgrade to the newer sedans? They're supposed to be faster

As long as the damage is under 10k, I think it's still considered "reparable". Make sure you get depreciated value!

Nope,

That sir is a total loss! Buy it back from the insurance company and make it into a track toy.

Gut the interior, weld in a cage, add belts, go racing!

The front and rear doors not lining up is the problem. The sub frame is tweaked probably beyond repair.

Replacing that unibody trunk is also an exspensive repair

you say anything that has the word "frame" or "alinement" and its a loss in my book...

car will never be as safe... might as well use this as an excuse to upgrade...
