Hi -- I'm new to this forum and this is my first post. I just bought an '07 SL with the 7 speaker/rockford fosgate audio system with bluetooth. Does anyone know if it's possible to play mp3s from a bluetooth enabled phone/mp3 player/ipod? Or will the Versa's bluetooth only work with phone calls?

If playing mp3s using bluetooth isn't an option, can anyone suggest a dash mount style set-up with the AUX input that looks tidy without cables hanging all over the place?

Thanks in advance for your help!

I think you're out of luck as far as sending audio to the stereo via bluetooth. There was a thread a while back where someone had pulled the AUX input into a jack in the compartment above the radio and kept a player in there. It ought to be just as feasible to run that cable out to the armrest area.

I've just learned to live with the cable hanging out of the AUX jack. I've been married 35 years and don't have to impress anyone, and I do like listening to last.fm/Slacker/Pandora while I'm on the road!

This is something I've been looking into since driving a Ford Escape rental for work. GROM makes a add on unit that adds USB, Ipod, and a optional bluetooth audio module. I don't know if there is another option.

The thing to keep in mind is that the add on is roughly $130 last time I checked on Amazon. If you have one of the more advanced head units in your versa it's probably worth the upgrade. If not swap the unit out for a 3rd party unit with these features.
