Just got in my new GT3071R turbo today but doesn't come with the actuator. I have a stock T28 actuator laying around and was wondering if that thing will work on it with my greddy adjustable boost controller. I'll make it fit, but want to make sure it will hold up!

Which GT3071R is it? T3 Flanged or T2 Flanged? Id go external wastegate either way. Ive had nothing but problems with my internally gated 2871R. Boost has a ***** of a time holding right.

I ordered it with the T28 set up to keep it bottom mount and is internally wastegated. I used to have the 2871R last year and it did awesome. It made almost 360 to the wheels and never had a problem with it holding, but it came with an actuator. that's why i'm kind of weary about using a stock actuator as i'll have it to atleast 20+ psi and not sure if it will hold.

Probably have to custom mount an actuator. An actuator with a straight arm design would probably be easiest. HKS T25 is what i used on my 2871R because of the straight arm being easy to mount.
