Can I use a fuel injector cleaner?

Hi.I have 1996 infiniti i30.I want to put a fuel Injector Cleaner in the engine. However the manual said that:

INFINITI does not recommand the use of any fuel additives (i.e. fuel injector cleaner, octane booster, intake valve deposit removers, etc)which are sold commercially.

Can I use the fuel injector cleaner?Thanks.

its just a recommendation- you can still use it...I use it (octane booster) on my max when I go to road trips up north (no higher than 91 octane, wtf?) and I have used injecter cleaner with no issues as well.. what sux is you will want to use it more often..cause I notice a difference when I use it, even saves some gas too...

BG-44K does a great job. I'm about to use another can in my tank soon.
