can I use a cross ref spark plug

I was in a dept store and wanted to tune my 4 cyl stck shift 1999 they didnt have champion or ngk plugs to fit my engine so I used autolite that was on the cross ref list, the car runs good, Is this OK to do,

From my experiance autolite's generally dont have much of a life cycle in nissans. They tend to cause cold start problems after a short period of time due to them not being as hot of a plug. Nissan engines are very tempermental on plugs and usually only due best with NGK's. you can get them from most auto part chains.
