Can I use a CA18DET ign. chip for a S14 SR20?!

Hello from germany...

I'm in the middle of my S14 SR20 swap into my S13 and I am missing the S14 ignitor chip. Can I use the old one from my CA18 engine or do I need to get another SR chip?

No you cannot.. ones uses CAS (sr) and the ca uses a PTU unit for signal. does not work. well it might but probably not correctly.
