Can I toss a KA24DE into an 89 ??

yes. question has been asked many times over and over.

ECU, wiring harness, engine/transmission.

I think you have to swap the cluster with the ECU and harness....kind of like the RB swaps....

ecu is the same too ....dude i have did this swap before all i needed was the engine and harness no transmission i used my old transmission:D
