i was just wondering since i got a 1992 dark red Infiniti Q45, that if i can switch the headlights and hood to make the front look like a 1994-1996 front (the one with the grill). Do i have to change the fenders because the headlights on the 1994-1996 are a little bigger. Does it even fit? like are the dimensions are alittle bit different. Let me know thank you.

Even if one fits the whole front end of a later G50 on an earlier one, then the side trim will not match.

It's very simple; if you want the late G50 look, buy one!

You asked and he gave some info and an opinion. No need to be abrasive.

To convert the front end of a 90-93 to look like a 94-96 will require the entire front end (everything front of the doors) to be changed, then some wiring changes (head lights, fog lights - not on the 90-93, etc) and then (as he mentioned) the body molding won't match up to your doors.

In the long run, especially if your chain guides haven't been replaced (read about plastic backed chain guides), it may be better, for the look you want, based on "total cost" to find a 94-96.

ahh i see thanks rex so thats what he meant to say. to buy a latter G50 because of the hassle of changing everything. He should of just said that itself and i would of understood, but the way he said it pissed me off, so i take my coments back. Sorry for not understanding.

Looks good.....how do you like paying $80 to fill it with premium fuel? Surprised a 16 year old would choose such a gas hog with todays fuel prices

Same reason I saw 3-4 mid 90s XJ6's in the lot of my cousin's high school when I dropped him off at school the other day.

Nice looking Q though, love the color.

LOL i kno i kno LOL but the car was passed down by my parents to me for free, i had to put money into it like a new engine with 50,000 mile and stuff but i don't need to pay anybody labor cause i do it myself and if i need help i ask my father. I'm currently going to a Tech School while still going to high school. The tech school im going to is for automotive, like a UTI but free (free for me since im still a student at a high school, they call it dual enrollment). So if anything goes wrong on my Q i'll take it to my tech school and put it on all the machines i have access to. I'm currently going to start to put a new transmission soon because the car was sitting for 4 yrs before it last moved (the last time it moved i was 12 or 13). The transmission cylinoids are bad because of sitting for so long. so im going to replace it soon. Im happy i got a Q because evrybody in my age group got Honda civics and Scion TC's so having a unique car that nobody got stands out from the crowd and not blend in like the civics, integras, and TC's
